Trump’s Hints at List of Prospective Running Mates

The choice of a presidential candidate vice president is one of the most crucial decisions he or she can make before even stepping foot into the Oval Office. The vice president is there to help the standing president make decisions, public appearances, and even take the oath of office if needed. It seems as though during most presidential campaigns, the VP is picked overnight, and even proclaimed to be the next running candidate for the following election.

Recently, a series of leaks from former President Donald Trump has revealed what is believed to be his list of vice presidential picks for the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election. According to critics, not one person on the list seems to be a worthy option. Some of the names on the list include Elise Stefanik, who is a GOP House representative for New York’s 21st congressional district. Byron Donalds, who is also on the list, is a GOP representative for Florida. A third name on the list is Tulsi Gabbard, who also is a representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district. Although all of the listed names are mainly involved in the political atmosphere, many believe that none of them are ready to take the stand as the next vice president of the U.S.

Another name on the list is Vivek Ramaswamy, who previously dropped out of the GOP primaries this year to endorse Donald Trump. Although Ramaswamy is one of the more valiant of the options, many voters believe the 38-year-old is not ready to co-lead the country alongside Trump. Aside from the multiple House representatives, and a former GOP primary runner, Trump’s list also includes many senators.

The senators listed are names such as Marco Rubio, J.D. Vance, and Rick Scott. Many believe that Vance is too early in his political career to handle the job, and was also a former Trump critic. Some believe that Trump’s list is just too short.
