Celeb Power Couple Flees Hollywood For Simpler Life

A source close to Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes claimed that the Hollywood power couple relocated their two daughters from Los Angeles to give them a more ordinary upbringing. They have no interest in having them around other famous people’s children, so it would appear that Gosling and Mendes are doing everything they can to shield the girls from the public eye.

Gosling and Mendes have moved “a bit further north” to give their two kids, Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 7, a normal childhood. Rumor has it that the parents-to-be wished to keep their kids away from the spotlight and the constant presence of other famous kids when they were growing up. Sources did not specify where “normal” is, but they did imply that it is near enough to Los Angeles that the parents can keep working and provide a safe environment for their kids.

An insider told the media outlet that the kids have benefited from staying out of the entertainment industry.

Although they have been dating since 2011, nobody knows if the two Hollywood stars are married or are still planning to marry.

Gosling, 43, and Mendes, 50, first crossed paths when filming Derek Cianfrance’s 2012 crime drama “The Place Beyond the Pines.” In the film, Gosling portrayed a bank robber who murdered to support a son he had with Mendes’ character.

The actress recently posted photos from the film set to social media.

While Mendes has stepped back to focus on being a mother, Gosling seems to be doing everything by the book to maintain landing big-budget film roles.

According to AFP, there were still plenty of live musical performances during Sunday’s Oscars, even though most were cut short since the Academy has conspicuously shortened its infamously long broadcast.

The show-stopper was undoubtedly Ryan Gosling, who appeared dressed in a sequined bright pink suit and matching gloves to play “I’m Just Ken,” a synthy pop-rock tune that was up for best original song. Gosling was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Barbie’s Ken.
