Getting caught committing credit card fraud should be embarrassing enough – but imagine continuing to do it after getting caught and punished.
And then imagine getting sentenced a second time, and choosing to do it a third time.
That’s exactly what this woman did.

Jennifer Munoz Bird, a 40-year-old woman from Las Cruces, was arrested for the third time on October 9 in El Paso for credit card abuse, according to the El Paso County Constable’s Office. Bird is facing 11 charges of credit or debit card abuse, with bonds totaling $24,500.
The investigation began in July when deputies received a complaint of theft and unauthorized credit card use. The first victim reported several unauthorized charges and discovered her credit card was missing from her purse. Surveillance footage showed Bird using the stolen card at various local businesses. During the investigation, a second victim, also a co-worker of Bird, came forward with similar claims.
Bird was first arrested on August 5 and again on September 5 after new evidence was obtained. Both times, she posted bail and was released. However, additional video evidence led to her third arrest on October 9.
