Reporter Gets Thrown Out Of Trump Event

Trump supporters shouted at a journalist and threw her out of the venue when she asked the former President if he is ready to go to prison. Sophie Alexander, who works for Sky News, was unceremoniously booted out of the Versailles restaurant in Miami and called a “stupid b*tch” when she put the question to Trump.

The former President and 2024 Presidential candidate visited the restaurant immediately after his arraignment in a court in Miami. He pleaded not guilty to 37 counts related to his handling of classified documents found at his Mar-a-Lago estate during an FBI raid last August. It is the second time Trump has appeared in court on criminal charges and the first time the Department of Justice has issued indictments against a former President.

Following the court appearance, Trump stopped into the restaurant and ordered “food for everyone.” Ambar Sanchez was there when he arrived and recounted how pastors and other religious leaders surrounded and prayed for him. “They stood over him and prayed together. It was really beautiful. He seemed relaxed and very happy to be with the people, as always,” she said.

Immediately after attending the restaurant and shaking hands with supporters, Trump headed toward New Jersey to address a cheering crowd. In his speech, he restated his claim that President Biden has orchestrated these charges against him and said America currently resembles a fascist or communist state. He said the federal government, including the Department of Justice and the FBI, are trying to scupper his chances at the ballot box as he seeks re-election to the White House next year.

Despite his long list of legal battles, Trump’s popularity continues to grow. After each incident, including the FBI raid, the court appearance in New York, and the arraignment in Miami, polls show this favorability increasing. An ABC News poll conducted a day after his Miami court appearance revealed that his support had grown by 6% since the previous month.
