Melania Steps into 2024 Campaign, Warns Of Great “Danger”

In a recent interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, former First Lady Melania Trump discussed how the 2024 presidential election differs from past elections. She emphasized the growing divisions within the country and the increasing threats facing her husband, former President Donald Trump, as he makes his bid for re-election.

“We are dealing with much more danger,” Melania Trump stated during the interview. She highlighted the heightened tensions and instability, both domestically and globally, as critical factors that make this election unique. Referring to two recent assassination attempts against her husband, she shared the challenges the Trump family faces. “And especially, we see what’s going on in the world and the threats that we get. And my husband, what he went through in the last few months,” she said.

In July, at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks fired several shots at Donald Trump before being killed by a counter-sniper. A few months later, a second incident occurred near Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course when Ryan Wesley Routh was allegedly spotted by a Secret Service agent, preparing to fire a rifle. Routh has since been charged with attempted assassination, among other serious charges.

During her appearance, Melania Trump also stressed the importance of open dialogue and respecting differences of opinion. “I think we need to have – we have different perspectives, we have different beliefs. We need to respect our freedom of speech and of our individuality,” she stated. The former first lady argued that robust debate and listening to one another are essential to achieving success and innovation in the country. “I feel it’s a troubling trade in this country that we are canceling people that don’t agree on certain issues.”

Though she acknowledged the length and challenges of the election cycle, Melania Trump remained focused and resilient. She explained that she approaches each day as it comes and remains calm, especially as Election Day approaches. “On Election Day, it’s all in the people’s hands,” she said. “People decide what they want for this country, and it will be again this year on Nov. 5.”

Melania Trump is also preparing for the release of her memoir, “Melania,” which will be available on October 8. The book covers her life before, during, and after her time in the White House, as well as the challenges she faced being in the public eye.
