Kamala Harris Knocks Ron DeSantis On War In Ukraine Statements

(RepublicanPeak.com)- According to reports, Vice President Kamala Harris said Florida governor Ron DeSantis does not understand how complicated the war in Ukraine is and how it affects U.S. sovereignty.

During a late-night TV interview, Harris was asked to describe the responsibilities of the vice president. Stephen Colbert, the host of The Late Show, asked Vice President Harris if her job was comparable to the TV show “Veep.”  Harris said that some parts of the show are accurate.

She then attacked DeSantis, who called the war in Ukraine a “territorial dispute.”  He also joined others in criticizing Biden for sending aid worth billions of dollars.

Colbert asked Harris What she thought about DeSantis’ remarks that it was not in the US strategic interest to ally with Ukraine and give them the aid they wanted to defend themselves.

Harris scoffed and said that you have to meet people and see how critical international standards and conventions are.

She explained that one must know how important it is for the U.S. to stand firm and be clear about the importance of sovereignty and how important it is to stand firm against any country that might try to take another country by force.  She then went on to talk about her conferences with national leaders.  She said these experiences helped her see how important it is for the U.S. to be involved in the world.

Harris said DeSantis probably wouldn’t say things like that if he knew what was going on.

The audience applauded.

But Harris wasn’t applauded in Iowa.

Harris was recently booed by a crowd in Des Moines, Iowa, according to The Comeback.

It’s common for notable graduates to be greeted with cheers when they return to see their former school’s athletes compete in a major athletic event. Yet on Thursday, Kamala Harris reportedly received loud boos as she was seen in the stands and introduced at her alma mater’s March Madness game.
