Online influencer James Rose, who identifies as “non-binary,” appeared in a Donald Trump campaign ad and responded with an emotional tirade. Trump used clips of Rose and fellow online trans personality Dylan Mulvaney as examples of radical left-wing politics, which elevates and normalizes gender dysphoria and imposes radical gender ideology on to children.
Rose responded with a tearful video on TikTok accusing Mr. Trump of trying to “eradicate” trans people. He said he fell apart when he saw the video and called on fellow transgendered people to unite against Trump and to “love each other harder.”
Trump’s new ad features clips of vast numbers of people crossing the US southern border illegally and describes the scenario as an invasion of America. It shows large packages of drugs and paramedics attempting to save the lives of addicts on the streets. The ad declares that America’s enemies are strong because America is weak, and Russia and China are laughing at the US.
The clip featuring Rose and Mulvaney is just seconds long and shows the pair laughing together on a TikTok video. A voiceover says, “The global elitists tell you a woman is a man and a man is a woman.”
In a campaign ad in January, Mr. Trump promised to tackle the radical trans ideology and its proponents with federal legislation. “I will sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote gender transition at any age,” he said. The former President added that he will ask Congress to permanently stop funding puberty blockers and body-altering surgeries with taxpayer dollars.
Several states have legislated to prevent young children’s exposure to puberty blockers and underage surgery, but President Biden has promised the opposite and vowed to make it easier for people to access medical services to change gender. “To transgender Americans of all ages, I want you to know that you are so brave. You belong. I have your back,” Biden said.
