Over the last two and a half years, it is no secret that the economic, social, and cultural conditions within the United States have quickly declined and worsened. Following the 2020 covid-19 pandemic America has truly never yet recovered from the effects of this trying period in National History in many ways. For 2 years in some cases, students and young people across the United States (children in the most vulnerable age groups) were forced to stay home and learn “remotely”. As a result, valuable time in which children could have been learning to socialize and improve their communication skills was lost, and people suffered tremendously.
Economically, rampant inflation reached its apex towards the end of the year 2022, and in the present day prices continue to rise. It is estimated that over a majority of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Despite this, holiday spending continues to increase and a record-breaking $12 billion has already been estimated to have been directed towards the holiday and purchases by many ordinary citizens. This more than anything shows that American culture has declined, and while people still struggle to pay their bills, many would rather be broke than to miss out on Christmas purchases.
Perhaps the most glaring crisis in the country at present is the porous situation at the southern border. Tens of thousands of people from around the world are estimated to be entering the country every day through Mexico, and the federal government has been detaining and then releasing these people into the interior of the country at will without proper vetting. Democrat politicians in cities across the country have turned hotels and homeless shelters into housing centers for illegals, and have used taxpayer dollars to provide for these people. According to a Republican senator from Montana, the federal government has even used resources and money that would have been directed towards veterans to provide for these foreign migrants.
