Democrat Lawmaker Fears Biden’s Death Is Imminent

Democrats expressed their worries to the news outlets regarding President Biden’s age and fitness moving into the 2024 race. For octogenarians like Biden, death is “imminent,” as one Democrat from Ohio put it.

The head of the Democrat Party in Lorain County, Ohio, Sharon Sweda, stated that Biden is in a stage of his life when death is approaching. When asked how frequently she hears Democratic voters fret about the president’s health, she said, “often.”

According to a CBS News/YouGov survey published on Sunday, 34% of people believe Biden will maybe complete his second term, 44% believe Biden is likely to resign before his second term is over, and 22% are unsure.

One Democrat senator was concerned that if Biden won the nomination, he could have to withdraw from the election because of health issues. If he were to be re-elected, he’d finish his second term at the age of 86. He thinks it is the worst-case situation Democrats could possibly face.

James Carville, a veteran Democratic strategist, has voiced concern that if Joe Biden is the party’s presumptive candidate, he might become a significant problem.

In an article he wrote for the Washington Post last week, David Ignatius urged Biden and Harris to withdraw from the race.

A new poll shows that former president Donald Trump polls significantly higher than President Joe Biden in a hypothetical matchup for the 2024 presidential election and that the president’s age isn’t the only problem he faces.

According to a recent ABC News/Washington Post survey, just 15% of Americans feel they are financially more secure with Biden, which ranks among the lowest of any president since Ronald Reagan.

44% of Americans feel worse off now with Biden than at any other time. This is the biggest proportion of Americans to feel this way in any ABC/Post survey since news outlets first asked about the subject in 1986.

Further, in a hypothetical rematch between the two candidates in 2024, the survey found that 51% of respondents would choose Trump while just 42% would back Biden.
