3 Killed, 3 Injured After Party Turns Into Deadly Shooting

According to a report from the Associated Press (AP), a tragic incident unfolded on Saturday morning in Denver, where three individuals lost their lives, and three others sustained injuries in a shooting incident.

Initial findings from the AP indicate that the victims were primarily men, though their identities have not been disclosed yet, as the medical examiner’s office is awaiting further information.

After discovering a deceased gunshot victim at an industrial storefront, law enforcement officers first responded to the scene. Subsequently, five shooting victims were swiftly transported to local hospitals, but sadly, two of them succumbed to their injuries while receiving medical attention.

As reported by the AP, the survivors consisted of one man and two women at the party when the shooting occurred. Evidence suggests that shots were fired from at least two different firearms during the tragic event.

The incident reportedly began as an altercation between attendees of the party in the vicinity of 16th Street and Glenarm Place around 1:50 a.m., as detailed by KDVR.

The Denver Police Department is actively investigating the incident and working to establish the circumstances leading up to the shooting, as well as identifying those involved, according to a statement from the department.

This unfortunate incident in Denver mirrors a similar occurrence in July, where a block party shooting in Baltimore resulted in the loss of two lives and injuries to 28 individuals.

Additionally, during the same month, a New York street party attended by hundreds of people witnessed 13 people being shot, stabbed, or struck by vehicles.

In another unrelated incident, the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) has confirmed that a tragic incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday morning, resulting in the loss of two lives and leaving at least 28 individuals injured in a mass shooting at a block party.

According to an official news release, the BPD received multiple reports of a shooting around 12:35 a.m. Preliminary reports suggest that 30 individuals sustained injuries due to the shooting.
Among these victims, emergency services transported nine individuals to nearby hospitals for immediate medical attention, while an additional 20 individuals independently sought medical care at hospitals in the surrounding area.
